I — Irresistible Community of Faith

This week at Epic Life, we continued our EPIC series with I — Irresistible Community of Faith.

God never intended for us to follow Jesus alone. Biblical community means sharing our lives, setting the table, making room for others, and helping one another become more like Jesus. We are called to be the body of Christ not just on Sundays, but every single day of the week.

We were challenged to ask ourselves: What is keeping me from living with expectant faith? Am I actively pursuing biblical community? And what is one step I can take this week to set the table for someone else?

Sometimes that step is simply opening our mouths and sharing what God has done in our lives. Evangelism doesn't always have to be complicated—it can begin with an invitation, a conversation, a meal, or simply being willing to share our lives with someone who needs Jesus.

Think about this question: Where would you be today if someone had never introduced you to Christ?

Someone made room for us. Someone shared the Gospel. Someone invited us in. Now we have the opportunity—and the responsibility—to do the same for others.

Following Jesus is a way of life, and community is part of that life. We must intentionally create margin in our schedules, our homes, and our hearts so God can use us to expand His Kingdom.

We cannot say we are following Jesus while continually isolating ourselves from His people. Biblical community isn't optional—it is part of our obedience.

So this week, let's set the table, share our lives, open our mouths, invite someone in, and be the body of Christ wherever God places us.

Don't just go to church. Be the Church.
