Mark 8:22-30

Don't you just love going to the doctor and them using their spit to heal you? It's our favorite too! When we read a story like this in scripture, it's a good reminder that context is key. People thought saliva had healing capabilities. When we see Jesus asking who people think He is, it's important to understand why that question matters. For us though, who do we say that Jesus is? Better yet, how does our life reflect what we think of Him? As you read these verses and listen to the message, reflect on what areas in your life might require more trust and obedience for Jesus.
